Service offerings

Project planning and maintenance

1. Standard quarterly maintenance

Standard maintenance includes:

  • Checking that the system functions correctly
  • Checking safety-related conditions
  • Oil level check if necessary
  • Check of expendable parts
  • Repeated instruction by the service technician if necessary

Further procedure after instruction in maintenance

The customer agrees a date every twelve months with Europress Anlagen und Maschinenbau GmbH. Consequently, the service includes an assembly date (invoiced according to maintenance and repair order). This maintenance contract is based exclusively on the location specified above.

2. Date arrangement

You will normally be notified of the arrival of our technicians two weeks in advance. If the date is not convenient, it must be declined in writing 7 days prior to the maintenance date. In case of default, the resulting costs will be invoiced (see Maintenance and repair order).

3. Preparation

The systems must be made available to the technician in an empty and clean condition and must be accessible for the maintenance. Add-on or auxiliary devices which impede maintenance must be removed before the technician arrives. The systems must be pulled off the ramp if necessary. Maintenance times for the attachment and removal of these devices will be calculated separately by our technician.

4. Spare parts

Expendable or damaged parts that need to be replaced will be recommended by the technician to the customer who then grants the order for replacement. New spare parts are delivered at the prices valid on the day of delivery.

5. Acceptance

The functionality of the system is demonstrated after conclusion of the maintenance work. By his signature the customer confirms that the customer service has been carried out, that the system is functioning perfectly and, where applicable, that any defective parts have been replaced and any repairs made. If no authorized person is available at the time of acceptance, the signature of the technician will suffice.

6. Repairs

If overhaul and repair costs are incurred in the factory, a quote will be submitted to the customer which he must approve with a signature. Any costs incurred, including shipping and transport costs, will be borne by the customer and invoiced separately.

7. Customer service contract partner

EUROPRESS reserves the express right to entrust a regional contract workshop with the obligations of the customer service. The customer will be informed of this and the name of the operating company made known to the customer. The services will be invoiced by EUROPRESS.

8. Termination of the warranty claim for systems from EUROPRESS

If any repairs and work on the systems are not performed by customer service technicians of EUROPRESS or a company delegated by EUROPRESS, EUROPRESS is released from the obligations of the warranty claim (with the exception of work involved in upholding the warranty as well as any retightening of the screw fittings of the hydraulics after the corresponding operating hours and cleaning of the press areas).
